Leslie Wellons

With over 25 years of experience in the restaurant, event planning, and culinary industries, Leslie brings a wealth of expertise and creativity to every event she manages. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Boston University, where she studied under renowned chefs Jacques Pépin and Rocco DiSpirito.

 

After graduation, Leslie remained in Boston, working with the family-owned franchise Legal Sea Foods and managing high-end events with Catering by Andrew. Upon returning to Texas, she contributed her talents to numerous restaurants and catering companies in both Austin and Dallas. Notably, she played a key role in launching Children’s Lunchbox in Dallas and founded her own healthy food catering service in Austin.

 

In 1998, Leslie co-founded Fabulous Affairs with Bruce Cox combining her culinary background with a passion for event design. Leslie specializes in full-scale event production and party planning. She and her dedicated team guide clients through every step of the process, offering innovative ideas and creative solutions to design the perfect ambiance for any occasion. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure events that are memorable, seamless, and uniquely tailored to each client.

 

 

Bruce Cox

With over 35 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, our Executive Chef brings a depth of culinary expertise shaped by both education and mentorship. He began his journey at a prestigious culinary school in the Northeast, later honing his craft under renowned European chefs during his time at the iconic Parker House in Boston, MA.

 

Following his internship, he continued at The Parker House, steadily rising through the ranks. His talent and dedication earned him the position of Executive Chef at Catering By Andrew in Brookline, MA, where he was responsible for planning and executing menus for a wide range of events.

 

In 1996, he relocated to Austin to further pursue his culinary ambitions. There, he brought his signature flair to Barton Creek Country Club, the Renaissance Hotel, and The Austin Club. His passion for exceptional food and unforgettable events led him to co-found Fabulous Affairs with Leslie, where he continues to create memorable dining experiences.
