Leslie Wellons is our event coordinator with 28 years of experience in the restaurant and catering industry. She has a Bachelor of Science in hotel restaurant management from Boston University where she studied under Jaques Pepin and Rocco DiSpirito. After graduation, she remained in Boston and worked with Legal Seafoods, as well as managing and planning events at Catering by Andrew.
After moving back to Texas, she has been involved with many restaurants and catering companies in Austin and Dallas, including Children's Lunchbox in Dallas and her own healthy food catering service in Austin. In 1996 she started Fabulous Affairs with Bruce.
Leslie excels at event and party planning. She and her staff will walk you through every aspect of organizing any type of event. She has innovative ideas to help create the perfect ambiance that will make your guests feel welcome and relaxed.
Bruce Cox is our Executive Chef. He has 35 years in the food and beverage arena. He attended culinary school in the Northeast and trained under some of the top European chefs during his internship at The Parker House in Boston.
After completion of his internship, he remained at the Parker House working his way up the chain of command until he accepted an offer as the executive chef at Catering By Andrew in Brookline, MA.
He planned and prepared menus for every occasion, and in 1993 decided to try his luck in Austin where he worked for Barton Creek Country Club, the Renaissance Hotel, and The Austin Club before starting Fabulous Affairs with Leslie.
